Richard E. Hertzberg, CFP is the owner and General Manager of Ames Financial Services. Early in his career, Rich was ingrained with a deep sense of satisfaction derived from helping others. This, combined with an interest in mutual funds and investing, started him on his path to the financial industry. Rich moved up the financial ranks quickly, expanding his education and experience while working for such companies as Bank Boston and Quick & Reilly.
During this period, he earned his series 6 & 63 FINRA registrations, passed his series 7 and 65 FINRA exams and attained his Health & Life Insurance licenses for the State of Massachusetts and his Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor designation through the College of Financial Planning.
